Manufactured, on request, with steels that vary between SAE 1035 and 1080 and diameters that vary between 1.20 and 5.00 mm. They can be zinc plated with a heavy or light zinc layer and are sold in rolls and Spyders weighing 750 kg. They are used for the manufacture of strands, cables, preforms, cellulose baling and patented for redrawing.
